Named after the President of Harrisburg University, Dr. Eric Darr, will select high achieving students with demonstrated potential, who are eager to understand and develop technology leadership.
This program combines two cutting-edge courses, nanobiosciences and cybersecurity with a technology leadership.
Nanobiotechology | 1 Credit | The Nanobiotechology course provides an introduction to one of the explosive technologies of today. Nanobiotechnology will be used in health, medicine extensively and students will learn concepts and future applications in this course.
Cybersecurity | 1 Credit | The Cybersecurity course introduces student to one of the hottest technology fields today. Students will learn about safety malware, ethical hacking and safe coding practices.
Tech Leadership Seminar | Non-Credit | The Tech Leadership seminar program takes students who are already leaders in high school and empowers them to succeed as future leaders in college and in their careers. To succeed in college, students will be introduced to different student services and programs, and will understand the structure and functioning of a typical US college so that they know when to seek help and who to approach. Next they will learn about possible majors and career trajectories during faculty research seminars and finally they will be taken on field trips to be inspired by CEOs and leaders in the tech industry.
